Application Process at KCU

Application

You can apply online at any time.

A paper application is also available if desired. Please take note that a $30.00 nonrefundable processing fee should accompany the application. Three personal references are required as part of the application process. Download these forms by clicking Access Reference Forms on the left side of the screen.

Pre-Admission Tests

Freshman applicants must submit test scores from the ACT or the SAT. (You can submit an application for admission prior to taking the above named tests.) Please request your scores be sent to KCU when registering for the test, or send a photocopy of the scores to the Admissions Office. After the test date, additional copies can be requested at the numbers below.

Transcripts

Incoming freshmen should submit a current transcript at the time of application and an official transcript upon graduation from high school. Transfer students must submit official transcripts from each college previously attended.

Housing Form

Please complete and submit a Housing Request Form including a $100.00 security deposit.

Health/Immunization Form

To provide the best possible care for you as a student at KCU we ask that you have your health care professional fill out a Health/Immunization Form and mail it to us.

FAFSA

Those students applying for federal assistance must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Indicate that the information should be sent to KCU by using the school code 001965.

Pre-Registration

Beginning in early summer, after acceptance, you will need to schedule an appointment for pre-registration. You will meet with the academic office for your class schedule, student life office for campus information, and the business and financial aid offices. You will also have your picture taken for your official KCU Photo ID. This process will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. A campus map and directions are available.
